The owner and director of Inferno Cheer and Dance is a passionate, dedicated and determined individual, who is committed to using her education, skills, training and drive to encourage and enhance the athletic potential of all her students.

At Inferno Cheer and Dance we offer both recreational and competitive programs, with over 59 classes each week, across a variety of disciplines, from American cheerleading, various styles of dance, as well as tumbling (gymnastics). All classes will be held in our new studio with our brand new facilities and equipment!

Competitive American All-star cheerleading is a physically intense activity which combines tumbling, dance, jumps and stunts to create high energy routines. It is a unique sport which relies heavily on teamwork and a strong team identity, improving social and leadership skills, as well as coordination, endurance, strength and flexibility. Our competitive cheer program will develop the ultimate athlete, offering a world of possibilities from squad/team cheer, group stunt, partner stunt, and solo cheer.

Our program will offer the chance to compete at state and national competitions, catering to a range of skill levels and ages. Following the USASF/IASF Rules, our creative and qualified coaching staff will embrace and encourage your child to achieve their full cheerleading potential.

Competitive cheer teams will train 2 days each week, consisting of 2 cheer sessions and 1 tumbling session. Days and times will depend on age, level and number of teams (two maximum). ALL training sessions are compulsory and competitive athletes must attend ALL scheduled competitions.

Our recreational cheer program offers a fun and unique way to be active, without the competitive element. Students will learn all aspects of the sport, from stunting to tumbling and more. Students will spend the year learning new skills which will be combined into a high energy routine for the EOY display/concert.

Our recreational tumbling classes will introduce students to new gymnastic skills, in a self-paced and fun environment. We offer both beginner, intermediate and advanced tumbling classes, catering to all skill levels.

Recreational dance classes offer all the skills and development, without the competitive element. Students will learn choreography and improve their skills throughout the year, which they will put on display at the end of year concert.

Classes cover a range of dance disciplines including; hip hop, tap, ballet, contemporary, jazz and pom.

Our competitive dance classes cover a range of dance disciplines, including Pom (cheer dance), Jazz and hip hop. In these classes, students will learn both technique and choreography, incorporating jumps, turns, formations and tricks, which they will perform and compete at both state and national competitions.

Competitive Stunt, & Cheer & Dance Solos/Duos

Group Stunt/Partner/Dual Stunt: A group of two to five individuals who partake in a 1-minute stunt only routine. This can be both competitive and/or recreational.

Cheer Solos/Duos: An individual or two individuals partake in a short routine showcasing all the elements of cheerleading, predominately tumbling and jumps, without any stunts or in a team environment. This can be both competitive and/or recreational

Dance Solos/Duos: An individual or two individuals partake in a short routine in the style or styles of their choosing. This can be both competitive and/or recreational.

Private Lessons (tumbling or dance)

It is highly recommended that athletes within the competitive programs also pursue competitive group stunt, partner stunt and cheer solos. These sessions will be in addition to team training, however they are a great opportunity to train and showcase higher level skills

In Term 1 of 2017 we will be gauging interest from existing students and prospective students as to any other class types that students would like to attend that are not currently offered at Inferno Cheer and Dance. If there is enough interest in a particular activity or class, Inferno Cheer and Dance will make every effort to introduce new classes to our timetable from Term 2 of 2017 and beyond

During the holiday breaks between each term, there will be holiday workshops in cheerleading, tumbling and dance. These are optional but highly recommended. Information about the workshops available will be provided closer to the upcoming holiday period.
